Term 5: Heros Week

Young adults (ages 16-25) who have autism and/or developmental disabilities are invited to this week of camp. The fun is non-stop and the campers are all able to walk, swim, and enjoy camp activities at their own functional level while attended by a 1:1 counselor-to-camper ratio.

Because camp can be confusing and a challenge to people with autism or developmental disabilities, special measures are taken to assist the campers in adjusting to camp. Photo schedules and plenty of personal space make this week work for the special campers we serve.  Every effort is given to group these campers according to functional level and diagnosis.
